Goa Public Service Commission (PSC) invites online application for the posts of Veterinary Officer and Superintendent of Fisheries before 25/05/2016.

Veterinary Officer:
No of Post: 24
Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,600/-.

Superintendent of Fisheries:
No of Post: 01
Scale of Pay: Rs. 9,300-34,800+4,600/-

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
For Veterinary Officer:
Essential:
(i) Master Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor Degree in Fisheries Science or Post graduate diploma in Fisheries, failing which Master’s Degree in Marine Science/Zoology/Marine Biology from a recognized University.
(ii) 3 years in Research/Field work in a Marine/Inland Fisheries/Aquaculture. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

For Superintendent of Fisheries:
Essential:
(i) Master Degree in Fisheries Science or Bachelor Degree in Fisheries Science or Post graduate diploma in Fisheries, failing which Master’s Degree in Marine Science/Zoology/Marine Biology from a recognized University.
(ii) 3 years in Research/Field work in a Marine/Inland Fisheries/Aquaculture.
(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

Age Limit:
For Veterinary Officer: Not exceeding 40 years.
For Superintendent of Fisheries: Age: Not exceeding 40 years.
