An “Uttam Stall Puraskar” to AAU in Krishi Unnati Mela 2017
In order to communicate and demonstrate the agricultural technologies to the end users at national level, Anand Agricultural University has participated in the “Krishi Unnati Mela-2017” held at Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi during 15th - 17th March, 2017.
Dr. Arun Patel (Director Extension Education, AAU, Anand), Prof. P. C. Patel (Assistant Professor, DEE, AAU, Anand) and Prof. M. B. Zala (Assistant Research Scientist, ARS, AAU, Sansoli) represented the university in the said programme.
During Krishi Unnati Mela, latest technologies [new varieties/ hybrids developed in various crops, liquid biofertilizers, mineral mixture, Anubhav Trichoderma, various value added products (aonla candy, flakes, bottle gourd juice, carrot halwa, bottle-gourd halwa and drumstick biscuits etc.) developed by the university were displayed and explained in depth to the visitors. The stall evaluation committee appreciated the technologies displayed by AAU.
On the basis of quality scientific information; novel crop production, agro and food processing based technologies displayed as well as interaction between scientists and visitors, an “Uttam Stall Puraskar” was awarded to AAU in the plenary session of the programme.
