Walk-in-interview will be conducted in the office of the director research, RAU, Pusa on 23-01-2016 at 11.00 am to select two senior research fellow in the project entitled “Study of rice yield under lowlight intensity using genomic approaches” under 12th plan scheme ‘Incentivizing Research in Agriculture’ sanctioned to Dr. N.K. Singh, Univ. Prof-cum-chief Scientist Rice, Dept of Plant Breeding and Genetics. The Tenure of appointment will be co-turminus, initially for two years. Further extension will be given on satisfactory performance of the candidate.

The duration of the project is five years. The engagement will be purely on contractual and temporary basis. The service of the candidate will be terminated automatically after expiry of the project or completion of period of engagement indicated in the offer letter whichever is earlier and the candidate will have no legal right, whatsoever for further absorption/ re-engagement in the concerned project.

The selected candidate will be paid Rs. 16000/- p.m. + HRA 5 % for 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 18000/- + HRA 5 % for 3rd and 5th year. The candidate must have master degree in Plant breeding and genetics/physiology/botany along with two years research experience.

The candidate must bring all original documents along with a set of attested copy and a copy of latest biodata.

No T.A./D.A. will be paid for attending the interview.
