Applications from the eligible candidates are invited for one position of research assistant against the post of assistant agronomist on contractual basis Rs. 25000/- p.m. fixed for M.Sc. and Rs. 30000/- p.m. for Ph.D. provided in the scheme entitled ‘Establishment of the Department of Agronomy, Plan-6, Part-B’ on the prescribed Performa obtainable from the office Room No. 112 of this department against the payment of Rs. 200/- in the shape of bank draft in favor of Controller, PAU, Ludhiana.

Essential Qualification:
1. B.Sc. Agri./ B.Sc. Horti/ B.Sc. Forestry at least second division

2. Master’s degree in Agronomy, with OCPA of 6.5 out of 10 or 65 % marks.

3. Matric level certificate of Punjabi language

4. The candidate without knowledge of Punjabi would only be considered/ appointed provided no candidate with knowledge of Punjabi is available.

The candidate should appear for interview on 28-01-16 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned and no separate information for interview will be sent. No. TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
