Department of Agricultural Biotechnology, College of Agriculture Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology Bhubaneswar has organized "National Seminar on Plant Genomics and Biotechnology: Challenges and Opportunities in 21st Century".

Objectives & Themes:
Plant biotechnologist along with plant breeder, physiologist, pathologist, entomologist and agronomist can deliver the extra food required by population growth. So integration of modern biology, computational biology with plant breeding will make the future crop improvement endeavours highly successful.

The purpose of this seminar is to encourage active participation of young scholars of this region to showcase their progress in biotechnological research and other allied areas.

Registration: Participants are requested to register for the Seminar on or before 20th January, 2016 by paying a registration fee (non-refundable) at the following rates, through demand draft/pay order in favour of ‘National Seminar on Plant Genomics and Biotechnology’, payable at SBI, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.

3. Accompanying person: Rs.1, 000/-

Accommodation: Accommodation will be done for registered delegates on first come first serve basis in the Guest Houses and in nearby hotels with tariff ranging from Rs.600.00 to Rs. 4000.00 per day per head.
