The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) is going to arrange a three-day long Jammu and Kashmir Agricultural Science congress from Oct 28 to 30 at its main campus.

Near about 500-600 delegates of different specializations of Agriculture, Veterinary and Basic Sciences from all over the India are expected to attend this Agricultural Science congress of the state.

The three-day discussion will include socio-economic dynamics of farming, rural livelihood, management of water and land resources, alternate farming system and farm diversification, technological innovations on crop and livestock management, climate resilience in agriculture, managing biotic and abiotic stresses.

The main focus of congress will be attaining livelihood security, sustainable food production and environmental protection.
