Programme on Digital India Organized by PAU's NSS Cell.

While addressing the students at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, Mr. Ravi Bhagat said, “The Digital India programme aims at transforming the nation into knowledgeable country.” He was speaking at a programme on “Digital India,” organized by NSS Cell of PAU in the University.

Mr. Bhagat while addressing the gathering of students, highlighted the importance of Aadhar card and warned against the supply of left-over foods to the public through use of technology.

Dwelling upon the initiatives taken in the field of agriculture, Mr Bhagat said that apt and right use of technology for the promotion of new agri-innovations can prove to be a boon for farming.

Earlier, Dr Ravinder Kaur Dhaliwal, Director Students’ Welfare, welcomed the chief guest, students and faculty of PAU. She said in benefitting the new entrants at PAU this programme would go a long way.

Students were apprised of e-bins, digital locker and talent development through skits and poster presentations on the occasion.
