National Convention of Agriculture Engineers will be organized in Anand on Agro-Tech Industries: Status, Scope and Strategies for Food Security. Agriculture professionals felt need of substantial increase in food production by 2020. Mechanized agriculture can greatly help in increasing farm worker productivity. Agro based industries have drawn specific attention of the people and business community during the recently held ‘Vibrant Gujarat Investors’ summit 2015.

As farm mechanization, management technologies, information and communication technologies will add on increase in agriculture production, processing and value addition of products will fetch higher market price to the farmers.

Keeping above aspects in mind, a two days national convention is being organized to bring together different stakeholders and deliberate in detail all the relevant aspects.
