General counselling begins at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University

COIMBATORE: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) began the single-window counselling for 13 undergraduate courses on Monday morning.

Candidates between the rank one and 420 were invited for the admission process that was held at the Anna Auditorium at TNAU.
The first 13 rank holders chose to not participate in the counselling process, and Siva Logesh D from Namakkal became the first to be allotted a seat. Logesh, with a cut-off 199 selected BSc agriculture-a for year programme at TNAU's Centre in Coimbatore.
The second seat was allotted to S Uma of Coimbatore who chose B Tech in food process engineering at TNAU.
Sowmiya M of Nammakkal was allotted the third seat through the single-window process, and she chose BSc in agriculture.
There are a total of 2,300 seats available at 20 constituent colleges and five self-financing institutions.

The counselling will continue till July 7.
