Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University popularly known as HAU, is one of Asia's biggest agricultural universities, located at Hisar in Haryana state.

Haryana Agricultural University has four constituent colleges viz. College of Agriculture, College of Agricultural Engineering & Technology, College of Basic Sciences & Humanities and College of Home Science.

University has a very large campus and has several research centres. HAU won the Indian Council of Agricultural Research's Award for the Best Institute in 1997. HAU became an autonomous institution on 2 February 1970.
